Lorenzo Pavone

Lorenzo Pavone is Deputy Head of the Partnerships and Networks Unit at the OECD Development Centre since January 2015. Lorenzo oversees the Unit’s work on policy dialogue with non-state actors through two networks of multinational companies (Emerging Markets Network – EMnet) and foundations (Network of Foundations Working for Development – netFWD). Prior to this assignment, he worked three years as Policy Analyst and Project Co-ordinator at the OECD Global Relations Secretariat, working on initiatives to support policy reforms in the field of private sector 

development and competitiveness in Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia. He has experience in private sector development, investment promotion and business climate assessment. Before joining the OECD, Lorenzo worked as a senior consultant in economic development and foreign direct investment attraction and as a development economist at the Development Co-operation Office in Tunisia of the Italian Government. He holds an MBA from HEC Paris and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Rome La Sapienza.
