Bertrand Gacon joined in September 2011. Prior to joining, Bertrand created the responsible investments and philanthropy offering of BNP Paribas from 2006. As the global head of this team, he put in place a range of SRI and Impact Investment solutions for HNW clients as well as helping to define and set up the bank’s philanthropic services. Before that, he was in the wealth management business of the same firm, taking the lead on several international projects related to e-banking and marketing from 2001 to 2003. He began his career in the investment banking arm of BNP Paribas in 1997.

Bertrand earned a Master’s degree in international finance from Skema Business School in 1997. He is the founder and president of Association Tizayuca, an NGO working with underprivileged children in Mexico, and president of Sustainable Finance Geneva, a non-profit organisation that promotes sustainability and responsibility within Geneva’s financial community.
